Place was awesome. Cleanest rooms, comfortable Bed, fluffy Pillows not 3 but 4. Balcony and wonderful view of the Lake. Bathroom amenities, great shower. The staff talks to you like they have known you for years!!!!! They give directions!!!!! They reminisce of places you have visited before and the changes that have occurred!!!!! They recommend places you need to see, and they send you to area eateries that have excellent food!!!!!! They have staff that understand you, older adults and what your interests may be !!!!!. No young teens behind the desk that can't understand what you are asking. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! Please remain as you are. Hope to be back Soon! Roger and Brad. October, 2024

everything was fine, staff was excellent , friendly, very close to town , short drive to everything, room was comfortable would consider one of the cottages next time it was off season so tiki bar was closed but over all a good experience would consider staying her again

The Cottages were roomy, clean and had an amazing view of Seneca Lake. Very close to downtown. The Tiki Bar was awesome as well. I selfishly hate to give this 5 stars as I know once word gets out it'll be hard to make reservation. I would definitely stay here everytime I visit the area.

Beautiful location. Traditional motel feel. Easy registration and a limited complimentary breakfast. It's very close to downtown. The room was clean and comfortable and met our needs for our one evening stay. Parking was available but tight at the lower end of the property. The cabins on the upper property looked very nice.

Cozy accommodations with a splendid view. We already recommended the Anchor Inn to our friends and they will be staying here next month. The covered balcony was the perfect place to watch a weather system move by and prepare for a wonderful visit to nearby Watkins Glen State Park.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay in a 2 bedroom cottage, clean, well equipped and comfortable. We had a beautiful view of lake Seneca from the deck. Short drive to all the amazing activities and Restaurants in Watkins Glen. The Tiki Bar was fun, food and drinks were great. Would recommend.

Was a good experience and the Tiki bar was adequate. Had the chance to watch the fireworks from the location very well, just wish there was a small beach or easier access to the water so some swimming can take place....overall I enjoyed the area tremendously and did a few wine tours, hiked the state park and enjoy the race track. Great time!!!

Anchor Inn is situated next to Seneca Lake but not right on the busy streets where all the restaurants are. We appreciate that seclusion and the beautiful view on the balcony. And we’re only 5 mins drive from the main drive and Watkins Glen State Park. The room was clean, equipped with a small fridge and microwave. They did not advertise this but the inn also provided small continental breakfast; coffee, fruits, small muffins, which is all we need. But if you’re in the mood for something hearty, there are many good restaurants just 5 minutes away.

Stay far far away! The view is great. After that forget it. The rooms are dark like a cave. The bathrooms are tiny. We were there for 4 days and no maid service. I had a payment problem and politely tried to discuss it with the management. The manager was incredibly rude to me and lied to me about how the problem would be resolved. I ended up with $1,100 on my credit card for a $498 stay. Do not trust these people with your credit card.
